Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-22T04:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-05-22T04:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S06W52
Active Region Number: 13679
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME seen to the NW in all coronagraphs. Source is not completely certain, but likely an M1.5 flare (S06W52) from AR 3679 which peaked at 2024-05-22T03:13Z, best seen in SDO AIA 131. Also observed as dimming and some weak field line movement at the time of the flare in SDO AIA 171/193/211, deflected northward of the region, supporting the source at S06W52 leading to a NW-directed CME.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
